Service sheet / 02
Before the wash.
During the cycle.
After the door opens.
A dishwasher note is easier to follow when it keeps those moments separate.
Unfold the
observation sheet.
Use only details you already noticed during ordinary use. These prompts do not ask you to start another cycle or inspect inside the machine.
01The selected programme
Keep the starting context.
Write down the programme or setting you remember, whether the machine started and any display message seen. “I do not remember the setting” is a useful honest answer.
02The point of the interruption
Describe the sequence.
Say whether the change was noticed near the start, during washing or at the end. Record an unusual sound or visible code in your own words, without assigning a failed part.
03What was visible afterwards
Separate result from cause.
Describe what you saw after the last use, such as the displayed message or the condition of the load. Do not reach into water, open covers or repeat an unsafe condition to add detail.
04The cabinet and access
Explain the installation.
Is it freestanding, under a bench or integrated behind a cabinet front? Mention restricted access, but do not pull the appliance out or disconnect its hoses.
A clear handover
“Here is what
I noticed.”
Bring together the model, the last-use sequence and the installation setting. An assessment can then address the cause and any proposed work.
