The details in an appliance enquiry
What is recorded
The form asks for your name, reply email, suburb and postcode, enquiry subject and message. When accepted, it records those details with a reference, receipt time and your permission to store the enquiry. It does not create a customer login or subscribe you to marketing.
Why the note is kept
The information supports review and handling of your enquiry, including clarifying the appliance, location and reported issue. It can also support a correction or request about a previous note. Share only what is useful for that purpose; do not include passwords, identity documents or payment credentials.
The preparation tools
The observation organiser, calculator and readiness checklist operate in the open page. The fridge log also remains in the open page unless you deliberately download it. These tool entries are not automatically transmitted. Adding an observation to the form is still separate from submitting that form.
Access and operational handling
Enquiry records are intended for authorised site administrators handling correspondence. The form keeps a separate short-lived rate-limit record based on a hash derived from the network address and site path. The raw network address is not added to the enquiry record. Hosting systems may separately keep operational logs.
Ask about an earlier enquiry
Choose the correction or privacy subject in the contact form and include the reference if available. You can ask to inspect, correct or remove information you provided. Enough context may be needed to identify the right record; avoid sending unnecessary extra personal details.
Retention in practice
Records should remain only while needed for the enquiry and associated administration. This website does not represent that an automatic deletion schedule is operating. Ask for review of a particular record through the enquiry channel if needed.
